‘Amour de Molène’ is a hybrid tea rose that exhibits an upright growth habit, typically reaching heights of 3 to 4 feet. Its blooms are a captivating blend of orange and pink hues, with a strong fragrance that some enthusiasts describe as reminiscent of licorice. The foliage is glossy and dark green, providing a striking contrast to the vibrant flowers. Gardeners have noted its notable resistance to blackspot, making it a reliable choice for various climates. This rose’s compact size and repeat blooming nature make it ideal for small gardens or as a focal point in mixed borders. Introduced by Meilland International, ‘Amour de Molène’ has garnered attention for its unique coloration and robust performance in the garden.

I have this in a sunny spot for about 3 years now and it has grown to about 5ft the last 2 seasons. I get about 2.5 flushes a season. The scent to me is an old fashioned scent, like rose-scented soaps. It’s always the first rose to bloom in early summer.
My Amour de Molene rose is own root and is quite vigorous in its first year growing up to 4 feet, but quite narrow. She has beautiful huge blooms!
Lovely rose, and I am giving a few more years since my climate is a challenge in the northeast.
